Rodolfo “WOX” Rincones

Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Texas at El Paso in Graphic Design and Painting. At this time he began to explore other media and obtained a job in videography and editing at the University, in the Institute of Oral History. He completed his MA and MFA in Iowa at Maharishi International University from the David Lynch Master’s in Film program, where he was closely mentored by Lynch and other industry professionals. His thesis “DreamLogic” was semifinalist at the “44th Student Academy Awards” and also received selections at the European Philip K Dick Film Festival and the Oaxaca Film Fest.

During his MA he has also participated in other short and feature film projects as an art and sound department. During his MFA he worked extensively as a Prop Master and Art Department on a television mini-series entitled “The Next Town Over” (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6889388/) 

In 2018, he directed a medium-length film entitled “Viajados” about his experience studying cinema away from home, and returning home for the holidays. (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8526158/?ref_=nm_knf_i2) 

At the end of 2018, I worked as Production Designer for the short film “The False Mirror” in Los Angeles, California, directed by Johnny Coffeen.(https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6151180/?ref_=nm_knf_i3)

In 2020 he made an animation for the feature documentary “Los Años de Otto” directed by Persia Campbell.

He also wrote and directed a short film entitled “ChronoLogic” which is currently in its festival run and at the moment has 7 official selections.
