Richard Hill is a photographer, writer & director based in the border of Ciudad Juárez, MX & El Paso, TX. With 12 years of experience in analog and digital photography, specializing in documentary photography, conceptual, portrait and cinematography. From 2013-2018 he established his photographic studio in El Paso, TX, collaborating with local cultural magazines and school districts from the city, as well as doing advertising content for marketing and graphic design studios. In the independent film production, he has worked as Director of Photography, 1st AC and Still Photographer in the following: The short film “Meat” by Luis Galindo as Still Photographer; the short films “La Vida Que No Ves” by Genaron Limón, “Fotograma” by Adriana Montenegro, “Fringes” by Jorge Carreón, “Revolucionarios” by Carlos Tejeda, “Onésimo” by Gerardo Sáenz as 1st AC; the independent feature film “I See A Darkness” by James Arrabito as 1st AC and the short film “La Vida Silenciosa” by Genaro Limón as Director of Photography. He just started as a Director with the 1 minute short film “Pasos Perdidos” in 2020. Currently he is working on 3 film scripts: The short films “Rosario” (pre production) and “De Sol a Sol”, and the feature film “Capullo”.
